Regis M. Russo
Regis M. Russo, 71, of Harmony passed away Sunday while in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his family.
Born April 18, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Joseph John Russo and Gertrude Barrett.
Regis retired as a mechanic at Harmony Castings in 2006. He had previously worked for North Hills Chrysler Plymouth.
He was a member of the Harmony Moose. Regis was an avid sports fan and supported the Steelers and the Penguins. He also enjoyed car racing, especially NASCAR.
Regis was quite the handyman and carpenter
Above all, he loved his family and loved life and had an unquenchable desire for knowledge.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Cheryl D. Hull Russo, who he married Oct. 25, 1975; his children, Regis William Russo and his wife, Sally, of Harmony, Joseph John “JR” Russo and his wife, Brenda, of Ellwood City, Bonnie Dorrenbacher and her husband, Nicholas, of McKees Rocks, Kathy Jo Troyan and her husband, Doug, of Butler, Tammi Crawford and her husband, Donny, of Saxonburg; five grandchildren, Nathan, Braedyn, Katlyn, Gunnar and Jaydon; two brothers, Wayne and Joseph Russo; his sister, Lucille Greenhalgh; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his two furry companions, Milly and Tigger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Ronald Russo.
RUSSO — The family of Regis M. Russo, who died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave. Zelienople.Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Carmen Shullo of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating.
