Union wins big

Golden Knights handle Forest by 70-25 count

Lucas Bowser paced three Golden Knights in double figures with 16 points Friday night as Union rolled past Forest Area, 70-25, in boys basketball action.

Hank Murphy added 15 points for Union (9-3) and Gavin Hawk had 10.

The Golden Knights had a 45-12 lead by halftime.

North Allegheny 76, Seneca Valley 58 — The Raiders trailed visiting North Allegheny by just six points early in the fourth period, but the Tigers reeled off an 11-0 run to ice a 76-58 Section 3-AAAA victory.

Jamir Carter paced the Raiders (4-7, 0-5) with 13 points.
