City police officer injured in crash
BUTLER TWP — A Butler police K-9 officer was injured when his patrol vehicle was rear-ended just after he had stopped a car for speeding. The accident occurred about 2 p.m. on Whitestown Road in Butler Township, near the Lyndora fire station.
The officer was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a minor injury. The police dog was to be checked out, but did not appear to have been injured.
