Florence J. Fiaretti

Florence J. Fiaretti, 74, of Bairdford passed away peacefully Friday unto the presence of the Lord after a long 23-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Eva Maute. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Trisha Maute.

Rudolph Fiaretti was her devoted husband of 57 years. Florence was the devoted mother of Jane Armitage, Tony (Traci) Fiaretti and Gary Fiaretti. She adored her grandchildren, Rachel (Michael) Brown, Rudy Armitage, Donovan Fiaretti and Angelo Fiaretti. Theo Brown was her latest addition of joy as her sweet great-grandson.

She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Nestler, Tina (Dave) Wood, Trudy (Bobby) McCurry, and her brother, George Maute, and by her many nieces and nephews.

Florence was the owner and operator of Flo's Beauty Shop in Bairdford for many years. She and Rudy then became custodians at the Bakerstown United Methodist Church for many years after that.

She beautified everything she touched, and her talent and creativity was admired by many.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, painting, and excellence at anything she tried. Florence will be deeply missed.

Fiaretti — The family of Florence J. Fiaretti, who passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, will welcome friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Interment will follow visitation in Holy Savior Cemetery, Gibsonia.Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Bakerstown United Methodist Church with the Rev.
