Cold closes most schools in county



Most schools in Butler County are closed today because of the cold and snow, but a few are open.
Schools and school districts that are closed are: Allegheny-Clarion Valley; Butler; Butler County Area Vocational Technical School; First Baptist Christian; Grove City; Holy Sepulcher, Mars; Moniteau; Penn Christian Academy; Seneca Valley; Slippery Rock School, and St. Wendelin Catholic School.
On two-hour delays are at the Freeport School District, the South Butler County School District and St. Luke Lutheran School.
As of 8:30 a. m. the Karns City School District had a regular day.
