2-year-old found safe at neighbor’s house

SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — A 2-year-old boy who wandered away from his backyard on Northside Lane, where he had been playing with his dog, was found a mile away at a neighbor’s house on Branchton Road.
The boy, who police did not identify, reportedly was unharmed from his adventure. He went missing shortly after noon and was found less than two hours later.
His disappearance resulted in a large search by volunteer firefighters and state police on quads and in a helicopter.
