Ski slope effort praised
With all the talk of drugs and crime in Butler, it was refreshing to read about about a group of young adults who headed up an effort to benefit the community.
Thank you Nathan Anderson and your friends who shoveled ice (brought from an ice rink) and snow to prepare the Sawmill Run snowboarding slope for the Winter X event in early March. You and the others worked long hours to raise money to bring snowboarding to the ski slope in Butler Township.
This activity will offer much-needed recreational activities, as well as exercise and skill-building. Another plus is that these young men were willing to work hard to see that this effort through.
Way to go, guys.
