Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528 near the intersection of Routes 8 and 173, Slippery Rock, will host Richard Laub, curator of geology at the Buffalo Museum of Science in New York, in a presentation using fossils and artifacts to teach visitors about ice age glaciers at 2 p.m. Sunday. The movement of continental ice sheets thousands of years ago created many of the features of the region's landscape, including the Great Lakes, the Finger Lakes and Niagara Falls.
