Stallings nominee for Clemente honor
PITTSBURGH — Catcher Jacob Stallings is the Pittsburgh Pirates' nominee for the 2021 Roberto Clemente Award.
The award annually recognizes a player who best represents baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions on and off the field.
Stallings has been active with Pirate Charities. He also stepped up to host virtual events while strict COVID-19 protocols were in place.
