Man injured in Slippery Rock accident
SLIPPERY ROCK — An 82-year-old male driver might have suffered a medical emergency Friday at 11:15 a.m. before the minivan he was driving north on South Main Street in Slippery Rock struck a marquis and statue of Jesus in the parking lot of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, borough police said.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was alert and speaking when police arrived and was taken to Grove City Hospital with unknown injuries, police said. The van was towed from the scene.
