Roskovskis sentenced to federal prison for BHS embezzlement scheme
Two years after being charged, Stephanie and Scott Roskovski were both sentenced Thursday afternoon to federal prison for defrauding from Butler Health System of up to $1.3 million.
Scott, a former county detective, was sentenced to 30 months in total. Stephanie, former chief operating officer at BHS, received 51 months in total.
The Center Township couple pleaded guilty May 28, 2020, to various federal charges related to defrauding BHS during Stephanie’s employment there as COO.
The amount of restitution to be paid by the couple will be determined by a judge at a later date.
As part of a plea deal with prosecutors, the couple will be allowed to keep their home and their business, Switchback MX.
