Man, 25, killed in Thursday night crash in Oakland Twp.
Speed and failure to wear a seat belt were factors in a fatal Thursday night crash in Oakland Township.
State police say Christopher D. Wright, 25, of Saxonburg was driving south on Route 68 at 9:42 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve.
The police report said the 2018 Dodge Charger driven by Wright left the road, hit an embankment, two utility poles, a wooden fence, and a brick-and-mortar pillar at 816 Chicora Road.
The car came to rest upside down facing north, police said.
Wright was partially ejected from the car through the rear driver side window.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
