North Boundary Road under I-79 closed

CRANBERRY TWP — North Boundary Road under Interstate 79 will be closed for an indeterminate period of time.

According to PennDOT, a portion of North Boundary is closed as crews repair utilities on the northbound I-79 bridge that passes over the road, with no reopening time set.

This is phase 5 of the two-year project in which the bridges over North Boundary were replaced with two-lane single-span structures.

Motorists traveling west on North Boundary Road should turn onto Marshall Road, right to Rowan Road and right on Route 19. Those wishing to travel east on the road should turn onto Rowan Road, left onto Marshall Road and finally right onto North Boundary.
