I found Fareed Zakaria’s column in the Monday, Feb. 22 newspaper most disgusting, and liken it to a speech from a dictator.

Zakaria makes it sound like the Republican party is loaded with misfits and extremists, and they need to be “purged.”

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! The last I looked I didn’t see many Democrats running around the halls of Congress with halos on their heads. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Maxine Waters, Cory Booker, Jerry Nadler and the lot are anything but a bunch of “choir boys.”

Most of the time their actions and words are appalling, unpatriotic and treasonous. Zakaria suggests the Republican party needs to do some “policing” without insisting that the Democrats do the same.

Why is that, Mr. Zakaria? There is no denying the swamp needs to be drained, and a blind extremist such as Fareed Zakaria needs to go down the drain with the rest of the misfits.
