Icy roads were blamed for a crash shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday in West Sunbury, when a sport utility vehicle slammed into a house on Main Street, authorities said.

The driver, a 60-year-old West Sunbury woman, was not injured.

West Sunbury volunteer firefighters said local roads were ice covered and so slippery they had to call for PennDOT to come and salt them.

A portion of Main Street was closed for about an hour.
