Beginning Tuesday, the Butler Area School District will move to remote learning for grades seven through 12. This will remain in effect until at least Nov. 6.

The district is taking this action based on the rise in community transmission of COVID-19 and recent positive cases in the district's students, faculty and staff.

The district said it will determine on Nov. 6 if the remote learning status will continue the week of Nov. 9.
