Volunteers help with fall cleanup
Volunteers in East Brady and from surrounding communities participated in the Fall Great American Cleanup of PA on Saturday.
Eleven volunteers and 11 workers from Clarion County Probation swept sidewalks, and picked up 27 bags of litter along residential streets, State Route 68, and in the parks and playgrounds. Fencing was repaired along the entrance to the Armstrong Trail.
Farmer's National Bank provided the use of its parking lot for setup, and the Old Bank Deli donated doughnuts and coffee. Bags, safety vests and work gloves were provided by Penn DOT. The event was sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corp.
