Indeed, key demography such as seniors and suburbanites, who mistook Trump as an orange-faced Pied Piper, are now defecting from the outskirts of his personality cult to former Veep Joe Biden.

Tragically, they were seduced into buying a big, fat pig in a poke, one Donald J. Trump, back in 2016.

Buyers remorse is a bitter tea!

But Trump can still win the next November’s referendum on his misbegotten presidency. The powers of presidential incumbency can sometimes translate into a winning hand for a chief executive down in the polls. Lord have mercy!

Also in Trump’s favor: Joe Biden is not exactly the ideal candidate of a party chairman’s day dreams.

Moreover, at 77 years young, Uncle Joe’s cognitive equipoise is being used as an issue that calls into question his fitness for office.

I will lay odds against tomorrow that Trump in the likelihood he is trounced, will boycott Biden’s big moment on Jan. 20, 2021.

That punitive proscription will be the final divisive act of the Trump presidency. Good riddance!
