Suspect sought in a robbery at the Cranberry Township McDonald's

A manhunt continues this morning for the suspect who robbed the McDonald's restaurant on Route 228 in Cranberry Township about 5 p.m. Tuesday.

No one was injured during the incident, authorities said.

Cranberry Township police released an image from surveillance video of the robber, who investigators describe as a white man in his 30s or 40s.

Police said no weapon was shown and the suspect apparently made no threats during the robbery.

He was wearing a gray, one-quarter zip pullover and a camouflage Under Armour baseball cap, police said.

Witnesses told investigators the man was last seen running east toward a nearby Famous Footwear store. Police said he possibly drove away in a black Chevrolet Impala.

Anyone with information should call the Cranberry Township Police Department at 724-776-5180 ext. 5, or send an email to tips@cranberrytownship.org.
