Seneca Valley Madrigal Singers performed Dec. 19 at the 22nd annual Senior Holiday Event at the Intermediate High School. The event provides a holiday celebration for senior citizens who live in the district.

JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley School District hosted its 22nd annual Senior Holiday Event at the Intermediate High School on Dec. 19.

The district’s JROTC cadets welcomed over 250 attendees to the event, which provides a holiday celebration for senior citizens who live in the school district.

The event began with a continental breakfast served in the cafeteria by members of the National Honor Society.

Guests were entertained by the Seneca Valley jazz band, orchestra, show choir and madrigal singers.

Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School student singers also gave a surprise performance.

The event was free for senior citizens.
