Al Vavro was named new president ot the Butler Area School Board.

He said is agenda was simple. One of them was to make sure the meetings start on time. I think he should add one more. That is to start the meeting with prayer.

The Butler school system has been a mess for the last several years. One problem after another.

Butler is a community of churches, and I appreciate the Butler Eagle including a Bible verse each day. So, when you turn to page 2 to check the weather, there is a Bible verse to see what God has to say to you that day. Thank you!

Also, in Sunday’s paper, there is always a little article in the interest of all churches sponsored by area businesses. This week’s article tells us we need God’s guidance as much as we need human support.

And Butler School board members, you need all the help you can get.
