MIDDLESEX TWP — Traffic is down to one lane on Route 228 following a three-vehicle accident that occurred around 3:15 p.m. Friday.

No injuries were reported at the accident that occurred between Rolling Mills Drive in Middlesex Township and Sandy Hill Road in Clinton Township, according to Chief Mike Huber of Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company.

Huber also said only one vehicle is expected to be towed, while the other two vehicles sustained minor damage.

A release from PennDOT about the accident says the road should be cleared by 5:30 p.m.
