The Strengths and Career Day last month at Grove City College was a new opportunity designed for Butler Catholic School's seventh- and eighth-grade students by Mandy Sposato, director of career services at Grove City College, and Jennifer Mobley, assistant dean for service learning at the college. In preparation for the Career Day, BCS students completed the Clifton Strengths Assessment at their school. The online assessment measures one's natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, and categorizes them into the 34 Clifton Strengths themes. Once on college campus, the students met first with Mobley to gain deeper insight into their strengths assessment report, which revealed their Top Five Clifton Strengths.
