Gun brought to Seneca Valley Intermediate High School

A gun was found in a student’s vehicle in the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School parking lot, according to a recorded call sent out to parents Tuesday.

According to the call, shortly after school started, school administrators were notified that a gun was seen in a student's possession at the intermediate high school.

The call also said Jackson Township Police began a search for the individuals named in reports to administrators and a gun was found in the glove box of the student's vehicle.

The call said police believe the gun was sold from one student to another.

Two students have been taken into custody and removed from campus for the incident, according to the call.
