Cranberry home severely damaged by fire
Fire damaged this home at 134 Hope Road in Crandberry Township on Wednesday evening.
CRANBERRY TWP — A township home was severely damaged by fire Wednesday evening.
Authorities on the scene said that neighbors reported a fire at 134 Hope Road at around 8:30 p.m.
Cranberry Township Police said the homeowners, Mary and Gary Thompson, were not home.
No one was injured and no damage estimate was available.
John Kinsler, Mary's brother, was at the scene.
He said the couple called him and told them about the blaze.
He said the Thompsons have been away on vacation for the last week.
“They were supposed to be home tomorrow night.”
Multiple other departments responded.
