Three teenagers are behind bars on attempted homicide charges in connection with a Thursday afternoon shooting in Cherry Township.

State police said no one was injured including the victim, a 19-year-old Boyers man.

Arrested were Henry Leroy, 19, of East Brady; Adam Rodgers, 19, of Chicora; and Tyler Martin, 17, of Slippery Rock. They are being held in the Butler County Prison while awaiting arraignment later this morning.

Police said they were called about 1:30 p.m. for a shooting near the victim's home on the 300 block of New Hope Road. Investigators said multiple shots were fired at the victim.

Troopers identified Rodgers as the shooter, according to a police report. He fled in a Dodge Caravan that Martin was driving. Leroy also was in the minivan.

No other details were immediately available.

Police said all three defendants were arrested and charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault. The trio was booked into the prison about midnight.
