Ferree breaks 2-year drought
BUFFALO TWP — Alex Ferree of Saxonburg picked up his first Late Model feature victory at Lernerville Speedway since 2017 Friday night.
Ferree started from the 13th spot and had the lead by the 10th lap. He briefly lost the lead to Colton Flinner late before grabbing it back on the final lap.
Flinner took second place and Ken Schaltenbrand grabbed third.
Jack Sodeman Jr. won the Sprint feature, beating Carl Bowser to the checkered flag. It was Sodeman’s second win of the season at the Sarver oval.
Jeremiah Shingledecker won the Modified feature, beating out Rex King Sr. and Rex King Jr.
Corey McPherson claimed his second win of the year in the Pro Stocks, beating out Tyler Dietz and Joey Zambotti.
