One taken to hospital after two-truck accident
ADAMS TWP — One person involved in a two-vehicle crash on Route 228 was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital Saturday morning.
Emergency responders were called to Route 228 in front of the Adams Area Fire Department for an accident involving two pickup trucks, according to Adams Area Fire Chief Tim Llewellyn.
Three people were involved in the accident, none of whom worked for the fire department. A second person refused medical aid, and the third person appeared to be uninjured, Llewellyn noted. Along with the Adams Area Fire Department, the Callery Fire Department responded.
A Quality ambulance transported one of the people involved to the Pittsburgh hospital.
The Adams Township Police Department is still investigating the cause of the accident.
