Lebanon Valley College student-athletes Cole Hepler of Sarver and Caleb Cekella of Harmony were named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Hepler, a graduate of Freeport Senior High School, is a member of the Lebanon Valley College men’s ice hockey team.

Caleb Cekella, a graduate of Seneca Valley Senior High School, is a member of the Lebanon Valley College men’s track and field team.

Caleb Cekella of Harmony is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the spring 2019 semester. At the 2019 MAC Championships, Cekella in high jump earned silver medals for the Dutchmen. Cekella received third team All-Middle Atlantic Conference outdoor honors in the high jump.

Jennifer Harris of Renfrew was inducted into Baldwin Wallace University’s Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society in the spring 2019 semester. Members are selected from the highest 20 percent of eligible adult students who have a minimum 3.2 GPA, 24 graded hours at Baldwin Wallace and are enrolled in their first undergraduate degree program. Harris, a graduate of Butler Area Senior High School majoring in arts management and entrepreneurship, shared the honor with 22 other students.

Zachary Diethorn of Seven Fields was among the student participants in the student robotics team from the University of Alabama who won NASA’s grand prize in its Robotics Mining Competition for the fifth consecutive year.
