Paws for Health a 'pawty' for pups
The third annual Paws for Health will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at DeWalt Health Centre on Main Street.
Donations received at the free dog-centered party will benefit Nittany Greyhounds Dog Rescue.
Proceeds collected from slices sold at a pizza “pawty” that will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. will be donated to the greyhound rescue.
Other activities will include $5 nail trimming by a professional from a local dog day spa, a blessing of the animals by a priest from St. Paul's Catholic Church and meeting a representative from the greyhound rescue to find out about breeds and possible adoption.
Samples from various vendors will be available as well as a kissing booth.
All dogs will go home with a doggie bag.
