A new temporary exhibit at the Maridon Museum features 14 pieces from the museum's Meissen porcelain collection.
In keeping with Valentine's Day theme of romance, the “Love in Bloom” exhibit showcases Meissen sculpture from the 19th century in a wide variety of styles.
The exhibit was designed by members of the museum's collections management committee: Cyndy Sweeney, Anne Miller and Carole Fruehstorfer.
“Love in Bloom” will continue on display in the Side Gallery through March.
Additionally, all visitors who purchase an entrance fee to the museum during the month of February will receive a ticket for a chance to win a 3-foot panda adorned with a red bow.
Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult.
