Two Summit students escaped Sunday evening
Two students escaped from Summit Academy in Summit Township about 7 p.m. Sunday evening.
The students were both described as black males, according to a police report. One student is 16 years old, the other is 17 years old.
The students got into a gold late-model Acura SUV driven by a young white female, according to police. The vehicle fled west on Herman road toward Butler.
A text alert was sent out by the academy shortly after the students escaped.
There is no word from state police or Summit Academy on the students' whereabouts. This post will be updated when the information becomes available.
