FINDLAY, OHIO — Morgan Hollabaugh of Worthington, Armstrong County, recently participated in the University of Findlay’s Innovative Leadership Challenge. The competition is an opportunity for students to showcase their business skills.

Hollabaugh was awarded second place in the Student Organization Case Study.

The Butler Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni recently awarded scholarships to:

Nicole Nebel, a graduate of the Vocational Technical program at Butler High School. She is enrolled at Mt. Aloysius University in nursing.

Leah Collins, a graduate of Tree of Life Christian High School in Westerville, Ohio. She is enrolled at Ohio State to become a nurse practitioner.

Brook Pfretzschner received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and will pursue a master’s degree from University of California to become a nurse practitioner.

MARIETTA, OHIO — Marietta College’s Kaitlin Sarago of Mars was recognized by the Department of Modern Languages with the Merril Reeves Patterson Award and the Capstone Award during a special ceremony.

Sarago, who is majoring in English, is a graduate of Mathews High School and is scheduled to graduate from Marietta College this month.

PITTSBURGH — Two graduating seniors at La Roche College, Zachary Weaver and Taylor Zediker, both of Valencia, recently presented honors theses at the annual Honors Convocation.

The attainment of such honors signifies the highest approbation the college can bestow upon an outstanding student. Under the direction and guidance of a committee of La Roche faculty, students conduct research, write and then present their theses at the college’s annual Honors Convocation.
