ATV driver accused of DUI after traffic stop on Route 8
CLAY TWP — A 52-year-old township man is accused of being nearly twice the state’s legal limit for alcohol while speeding home from a bar at night aboard an all-terrain vehicle on Route 8.
State police on Wednesday charged Terry D. Young with driving under the influence, speeding and other traffic violations stemming from his arrest in October.
Two troopers were on patrol about 11 p.m. Oct. 20 when they spotted an ATV traveling south on Route 8. ATVs are not permitted on public roads.
