Steelers tackle Gilbert suspended
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert was suspended four games by the NFL Monday for using performance enhancing substances.
In a statement on the Steelers' website, General Manager Kevin Colbert said that he will not appeal the suspension.
Gilbert, 29, a seven-year NFL veteran, will not be allowed back at the Steelers' facilities until after the team's Dec. 17 game.
The Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers at home Sunday night.
