David McGinty

State police in Butler are reporting that David McGinty, 57, of Slippery Rock turned himself in yesterday.

McGinty was seen fleeing the scene of an October 30 vehicle accident on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township. It appeared to police and EMS personnel on the scene that McGinty suffered a head injury.

He eluded searchers from the state police, Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department and dozens of family members since that time.
