WINFIELD TWP — Bullet, the county Sheriff's Department K9, follows the orders of his handler, Sgt. Harry Callithen, during his Oct. 12 visit and demonstration at the Southeastern Butler County Senior Center at the Winfield Township Firehall.

The Sheriff's Department acquired Bullet, a German short-haired pointer, in the fall of 2012. He has undergone extensive training on drug detection and missing-persons search techniques. Callithen has served as Bullet's handler since he was obtained by the county.
