I think it is about time the news media stops this coverage of individuals kneeling during our national anthem. We all know that we will never live in a perfect world but it’s about time to give coverage to the majority of all the men and women who stand while the anthem is played, some with hands over hearts and some saluting the flag. They are the ones that the coverage should be focused on showing respect for our men and women of the military who have given their lives or much of their lives with disabilities in the defense our country.

It’s time for TV news media to show the crowds respecting the national anthem at the stadiums and skip showing the kneelers. The patriotic people do not need to see any longer few individuals desiring to kneel not honoring the military, and the deceased or wounded veterans that gave us so much.

I give thanks that the majority of Americans do respect and honor out flag and the national anthem. I believe certainly those kneeling can come up with a different way to get their ideas across to the patriotic people of the United States of America.
