Comedy 'Fallen Angels' kicks off summer season
ALLEGHENY TWP, Westmoreland County — “Fallen Angels,” a comedy directed by Marushka Steele, will run Friday to July 30 to start the Freeport Theatre Festival’s 28th summer season.
Shows are at 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Jazz age music with Joe Lege on the piano and accordion will begin at 6:30 p.m. Dancing and faux champagne are planned. Prizes will be awarded for costume originality.
The other show of the season will be “Barefoot in the Park,” a romantic comedy directed by Jim Knapick, Aug. 11 to 27.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 for senior citizens and military personnel, and $10 for students.
The theater is on the Steele Farm, 2498 White Cloud Road, two miles south of Freeport off Route 356.
