[naviga:h3]‘Nunsense’ opens at MTG[/naviga:h3]

Musical Theatre Guild will present “Nunsense” Friday through July 23 at the William A. Lehnerd Production Center at Memorial Park.

Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.

Also, Saxonburg will celebrate on Saturday the 185th anniversary of its founding and the 175th anniversary of John Roebling being granted a U.S. patent for his wire rope process.

BRADY TWP — The Old Stone House hosts “Kids History Fun Days” 9 a.m. to noon July 24 to 26 for children ages 6 to 10.

This event offers children an opportunity to learn through historically accurate games, crafts and colonial cooking.

Registration deadline is Friday. Cost $50. Visit oldstonehousepa.org.

The Old Stone House is at the intersection of Routes 8, 528 and 173. The site is managed by Slippery Rock University.

[naviga:h3]Comedian coming to Cranberry[/naviga:h3]

Ed Bailey and Day Bracey from Drinking Partners will play host to comedian Myq Kaplan July 28 and July 29 at Comtra Theatre, 20540 Route 19, Cranberry Township.

Kaplan was one of nine finalists in Comedy Central’s 2007 Open Mic Fight competition. Kaplan also recorded a one-hour Netflix special in 2014 called Small, Dork and Handsome. Comedians Sean Collier and T-Robe will also be featured July 28 and July 29, respectively.

The event is BYOB but will include free mead and beer samples. Tickets are available for $25 at Comtratheatre.ticketleap.com, or at the door for $28.
