Butler homicide suspect apprehended in Richmond, Virginia
David “Dae Dae” Franklin was apprehended Thursday by the United States Marshals Service, Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force. Franklin was arrested in Richmond, Virginia.
Franklin, 19, was charged on March 17 by Butler City Police with criminal homicide and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure. He is accused of fatally shooting 20-year-old Rashaan Khalil Adams of Philadelphia multiple times at the Wick Street Apartments.
Franklin was apprehended in the 1200 block of Jockey Terrace in Richmond without incident after the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force developed information on his whereabouts.
Franklin is being held in the Henrico County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
