Dillon Latini

Dillon Latini, 18, of Saxonburg was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on March 29 with Troop 58 of Valencia.

He is the son of Melissa Latini of Saxonburg.

For his Eagle Scout project, Dillon built a trailhead with a bench and roof at the Glade Run Lake. The additions provide a place to post information and a spot where people can take a break after walking on the trail.

Dillon has been scouting for nine years, having earned 29 merit badges and the Arrow of Light. He also is a member of the Order of the Arrow.Throughout his career, Dillon served in the positions of assistant senior patrol leader, quartermaster, patrol leader and assistant patrol leader.

After graduation, Dillon plans to become a certified technician.
