Jeremiah 4:19 (NIV) reads: “Oh, my anguish my anguish. I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart, my heart pounds within me. I cannot keep silent, for I have heard the sound of the trumpet. I have heard the battle cry.”

Lord, I pray the fire of the Holy Spirit upon your church. Let there be an awakening within the body of believers like I have never seen before.

Let the battle cry be heard from east to west and north to south.

It is time for a cleansing of your body, that I may be holy, like you are holy. It is time for the body to be broken and true repentance to flow through your body. I need to stand up for the truth and renew my commitment and obedience to you.

Lord, I pray that the walls of division would come down, that love and righteous living would fill my heart.

I pray that pride and self-righteousness would be destroyed in me.

I pray that my witness for you would bring praise, honor and glory to your name.

I commit my all to you; let nothing ever again separate me from you. You are my only hope.

I pray all this in your name, Jesus.
