SAXONBURG — The 85th Saxonburg Fireman’s Carnival from July 25 to 30 will keep its traditional schedule but has changed the brand of its raffle’s muscle car prize and switched its ride vendor.

A 2016 Ford Mustang will be awarded to the winner of the raffle drawing on the carnival’s final night. A 2016 Harley-Davidson, $1,000 and $500 are the second through fourth place prizes, respectively.

Also changing this year, is the ride vendor. The Midway Rides of Utica will provide more than 20 rides and attractions.

The carnival will continue to feature the Kiddee Matinee from 1 to 6 p.m. that Wednesday and Saturday for children before the gates open to everyone at 6 p.m. The carnival closes at 11 p.m. each day, except for the final day for the raffle drawing. Highlights include:

July 25 — Pet parade, 7 p.m. No registration is required. Pets must be leashed or caged. No poisonous or dangerous pets are allowed.

July 26 — Water battle, 7 p.m.; Petite Little Miss Saxonburg pageant, 7 p.m.

July 27 — Kiddee Matinee, 1 to 6 p.m.; Little Miss Saxonburg pageant, 7 p.m.

July 28 — Fireman’s Parade, 6 p.m., featuring fire departments, students and public officials.

July 29 — Junior Miss Saxonburg pageant, 7 p.m.

July 30 —Kiddee Matinee, 1 to 6 p.m.; Miss Saxonburg pageant, 7 p.m., ages 16 to 18; raffle drawing, 11 p.m.

There also is no admission on Monday, and regular admission is $2 per person. Tickets for ride bands are $15 in advance, but ride wristbands bought during the week will be $20. Advanced tickets are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Saxonburg fire hall office, 210 Horne Avenue.
