Martha L. Drobnak

Martha L. Drobnak, 86, of Butler passed on to be with the Lord on Friday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Lyndora on Sept. 30, 1929, to the late Wasil and Stefonia Bondarchuk.

She was the beloved wife for 52 years to the late Francis M. Drobnak.

Martha was a wonderful mother to the late William M. Drobnak; mother-in-law to Dr. Martha Drobnak and to her surviving daughter Donna M. Blasinsky; mother-in-law to Mark M. Blasinsky.

She was an active and loving grandma to Emily Drobnak Davalchenko, Allison Drobnak, Eve Marie Blasinsky and Adam Blasinsky.

Martha's family included her twin great grandchildren, William and Anna Davalchenko; her sister Marge Dove, and many nieces and nephews.

Martha was a graduate of Butler High School.

Following high school, she was employed in Kresge's Department Store before her marriage.

She was a parishioner for more than 65 years at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She loved spending time with her family which was the center of her life. She enjoyed for many years needlepoint, cooking and reading.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary, Harry, John, Olga and Sophia.

DROBNAK — The family of Martha L. Drobnak, who died Friday, April 1, 2016, will welcome all from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. Internment will follow in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
