Mandrea A. Dobson
Mandrea A. Dobson, 34, of Cranberry Township died Saturday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Place after a long illness.
Born April 5, 1981, in McCandless Township, she was the daughter of Gary and Rita Huber Dobson.
A homemaker, Mandrea was a member of St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople and the Gianna Witnesses Group there. She had been a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 403 in Cranberry Township, and she enjoyed kayaking and fishing.
She belonged to the Pennsylvania Master Gardeners and had been a 16-year volunteer at Old Economy Village Gardens.
Surviving are her son, Noah Dobson of Cranberry Township; her parents, Gary and Rita Huber Dobson of Cranberry Township; her sister, Dana Brown (Luke) of Butler; her brother, Adam Dobson of Portland, Ore.; her paternal grandmother, Willavene Dobson of New Castle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Betty Huber; and her paternal grandfather, Jimmy Dobson.
DOBSON — Friends of Mandrea A. Dobson, who died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Michael Roche officiating.
