Laura Herold

Laura Herold of Butler will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner and a trip to the casino.

The former Laura Stephenson was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Mount Chestnut. She married the late Joe W. Herold on Nov. 22, 1944, in Butler.

She has three children, Mary (Frank) Parise of Greenville, Linda (Les) Barto of Chicora and Edward (Suzie) Herold of West Sunbury. She also has seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Herold retired from the Butler School District as a cafeteria worker. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoys reading, puzzles and trips to camp.
