Steelers lose rookie CB
LATROBE — Pittsburgh Steelers rookie cornerback Senquez Golson underwent shoulder surgery on Friday and is out indefinitely.
The second-round pick out of Mississippi has been on the physically unable to perform list since training camp began. Coach Mike Tomlin said Friday he’s not certain what path the Steelers will follow when Golson begins rehabilitation.
Golson was a full participant in organized training activities during the spring but showed up to camp at Saint Vincent College with the shoulder issue.
