Nathan E. Custer

Nathan E. Custer, 52, of Valencia passed away Friday in Penn Township.

Mr. Custer was born April 15, 1963, in Bedford County, the son of Ralph “Iron Mike” and Ann (Shaffer) Custer.

Mr. Custer was employed at the Lowe's Home Center in Cranberry Township, and he was a member of the Harmony Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and camping.

Mr. Custer is survived by his parents, Ralph and Ann of Worthington, Pa.; two sons, Nicholas (Stephanie) Custer of Fenelton and Zachary Custer of Worthington; Tracey Custer of Worthington; his fiancee, Patricia Miller of Valencia; two sisters, Suzan Tarr (Richard) of Worthington and Michelle Norman of New Jersey; two nieces, Kaitlyn Isaacson (Jerry) and Sara Tarr; one nephew, Ricky Tarr; and one great-niece, Belle Isaacson.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Ronald Custer.

CUSTER — Friends of Nathan E. Custer, who died Friday, July 24, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington.Services will be officiated by the Rev. Robert Hindman.Interment will take place at the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, One Nolte Drive, Kittanning, PA 16201.
