Marie Anne Lukas
Marie Anne Lukas, 84, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Marie was born on Staten Island, N.Y., in 1930, a daughter of the late John and Carmella Rusciana. She had moved to Butler in 2004.
Mrs. Lukas was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Marie loved to spend time with her grandchildren and loved cooking and knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph of Butler; her sons, Ralph Lukas Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Butler and Paul Lukas and his wife, Krisann, of Howell, N.J.; her daughter, Laura Lukas of Butler; her grandchildren, Ralph, Thomas, Melanie, Melissa, Emily, Danielle, Samantha, Hannah, Mitchel and Rachel; and her five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard, and her sister, Rose.
LUKAS — Friends of Marie Anne Lukas, who died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz, pastor, officiating.
